BRETT FAVRE'S LEGACY..............WHAT???
So to add insult to injury, the Packers offer to bring Favre back with 12mil and to hold a clipboard. This should "protect Favre's legacy".......What??
Yes this thing has been going on long enough but come on!! Is that any way to treat your star quarter back of 16 seasons?
Yeah atheletes are paid well, but how much would you charge to have an over grown animal twice your size chase you down with the intention of ripping your head from your shoulders..... once? Do you have a number yet? O.k. now multiply this one mind numbingly scary event by 16 games a season by 16 seasons by every play these monsters are coming for you. Lets give Brett a little respect here, after all there are a lot of people that haven't even confronted the "milk money bully".
Brett says that holding a clipboard and warming a bench is unexceptable and I agree with him. It seems to me that the Packers are setting him up for one of the "What Happened to Brett Favre" video clips. WAY TO PROTECT HIS LEGACY!! Like Favre said "let me worry about that", when confronting the legacy statment.
So sorry Mr. Rodgers (Aaron Rodgers/back up QB) but this is Brett Favre's neighborhood!

NO NO NO RAMPAGE........ JUST NO!!!
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, was arrested late afternoon in Costa Mesa,Ca on Tuesday. Jackson's bail was set to $25,000.
What drew attention to Jackson was the fact that he was talking on a cell phone in traffic (against Ca law now), and driving on a flat tire. When an officer attempted to pull him over, Jackson ignored the officer and kept driving with the officer in pursuit.
Police received a report of a vehicle involved in a collision on the 55 freeway in Costa Mesa which struck other vehicles and fled the scene. It was said that Jackson hit two cars at 19th Street and Newport Blvd. at 1:13pm but did not stop. The chase continued as Jackson was weaving in and out of traffic, also driving in the oncoming traffic lane at one point and the sidewalk.
The chase continued hitting one more car and ending in Newport Beach with Rampage being arrested (face down on the ground and at gun point). The chase last 5 minutes and Jackson was charged with hit and run driving, felony evasion and reckless driving.

UFC President Dana White flew to Orange County at first mention of Jackson's arrest.
Reports overnight stated that Jackson had been deemed medically unfit for booking and taken to a hospital in Orange County. Sgt. Chamberlin of the Costa Mesa Police Department, however, told MMAWeekly.com , “(Jackson) was deemed medically fit to be booked at our jail here at Costa Mesa.”

THE 2008 HOME RUN DERBY SHOW
Justin Morneau won the show, but it was Josh Hamilton that put on the show. In the first round Hamilton put on a clinic with 28 record breaking and setting home runs. Hamilton accomplished this by catching fire after ALREADY hitting 15 hr's. Morneau won the show but should have honored the showcase Josh Hamilton with the trophy.

Brett Favre speaks out
Brett Favre felt the "itch" to come back and play inciting what looks to be an over reaction from the Packers. Favre feels as though his announcement to retire, the Packers would have moved forward with another quarter back.
GM Ted Thompson says "We are going to try to do the right thing by Brett and by the Packers".
