Privacy Policy

eSeekers (California), Inc. ("us", "we", "our") provides the ShareNow.com network of Web sites and services (the "Service") which includes the ShareNow desktop client software application (the "Application"), the Web site currently located at www.ShareNow.com and encompasses all Web sites and Web pages with ShareNow.com residing in it as a domain or sub-domain (collectively, the "Site") and from time to time other associated Web sites, features, content or applications to you subject to this Privacy Policy. Your privacy is important to us and we have prepared this Privacy Policy to explain to you how we collect, use and may share your Personal Information (defined below) and how you can manage your Personal Information preferences. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, use of the Service indicates your understanding and agreement to the terms of this Privacy Policy and to our User Agreement.

  1. MANAGING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION PREFERENCES. If you wish to exclude your Personal Information from our direct marketing purposes or update or delete your Personal Information with us, please follow this link to change your personal preferences on your Service profile.
  2. INFORMATION WE AUTOMATICALLY COLLECT. We automatically collect information that does not reflect or reference an individually identifiable user ("Non-Personal Information") to help us understand how our users use the Service. For example, each time you use the Service we automatically collect your IP address and other information about your Internet connectivity.   3. INFORMATION YOU CHOOSE TO SUBMIT. We collect information that may personally identify you, such as your name, user name, e-mail address, age, gender and other personal information ("Personal Information") only if you choose to share such information with us. For example, you are required to provide us with certain Personal Information to register with the Service, enter sweepstakes, contests or other promotions, and at other times. The decision to register or provide such information is optional; however, if you elect not to register or provide such information, you may not be able to access certain content or features of the Service.
  4. HOW WE USE NON-PERSONAL AND PERSONAL INFORMATION. (a) We may use the Personal and Non-Personal Information you provide about yourself to notify you of new products or services that we believe may be of interest to you, to send service notifications, to customize the advertising and content you see, to fulfill your requests for products, services or information, to improve the Service, to conduct research, to solicit your feedback about the Services and how we can make your experience on our site better, and to contact you about the status of your account with us (including sweepstakes, contests and other promotions). We do not share Personal Information about you with advertisers at any time whatsoever without your permission. (b) From time to time, we might establish a business relationship with other persons or entities whom we believe trustworthy and whom we have asked to confirm that their privacy practices are consistent with ours ("Service Providers"). For example, we may contract with Service Providers to provide certain services including credit card processing, data management, promotional or advertising services, Web hosting, Web development, etc. We provide our Service Providers with the information needed for them to perform these services. Each Service Provider must agree to implement and maintain reasonable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information involved in order to protect your information from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification or disclosure. (d) We may use third party advertisement serving companies to serve advertisements when you visit the Site or use the Service. These companies may use information about you in order to provide advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you. In the course of serving advertisements, these companies may place or recognize a unique cookie on your computer or use other technologies such as pixel tags or Web beacons. Our Privacy Policy does not cover any use of information that a third party advertisement serving company may collect from you. (e) Anything to the contrary contained herein notwithstanding, we may disclose Non-Personal Information or Personal Information to any third party if we reasonably believe that disclosure is necessary or required: (i) to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by us, whether or not a response is required by applicable law; (ii) to enforce our User Agreement or otherwise protect our rights; or (iii) to protect the safety or rights of our users.
  5. YOUR PROFILE, MEDIA, AND FRIENDS. We reserve the right to make all of the following information about you available to all other users of the Service: (a) any information you choose to include in your Service profile (including, without limitation, your user name, e-mail, age, gender and other personal details); (b) any photos, videos or other personal media content you submit using the Service or share on your profile; (c) the groups to which you belong; and (d) the date you registered to become a member of, and last logged into, the Service. Your use of areas of the Service that are intended for interaction with other users may reveal your user name and may allow you to publish certain Personal Information. By choosing to use these areas, you understand and agree that anyone with access to those areas may access and forward any information about you that is contained in or that you post to those areas. As with any social media service, you should use care when publicly disclosing your Personal Information.
  6. INVITATIONS AND MESSAGES. If you invite another person to join the Service or send an e-mail from the Service, we will ask for that person's name and e-mail address in order to deliver your invitation or message. We collect and maintain the information associated with such invitations and messages.
  7. LINKS TO OTHER SITES. The Service may contain links to Web sites or content operated and maintained by third parties, over which we have no control. Privacy policies on such third-party Web sites or content may be different from our Privacy Policy. You access such third-party Web sites or content at your own risk. You should always read the privacy policy of a third-party Web site before disclosing any information on such Web site.
  8. SECURITY. We use industry standard security measures to protect your information so that it is not made available to unauthorized parties. We also require our Service Providers to implement and maintain reasonable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we share with them. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot and do not guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit on or through the Service, and you do so at your own risk.
  9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY STATEMENT. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received Personal Information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete such information from our records. Because we do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under the age of 13, we also do not knowingly distribute such information to third parties.
  10. CHANGE IN CONTROL. We expressly reserve the right to transfer Non-Personal Information and Personal Information to any successor in interest that acquires rights to such information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.
  11. MODIFICATIONS TO PRIVACY POLICY. We may, in our sole and absolute discretion, change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post a copy of the Privacy Policy as changed on the Site. Your continued use of the Service constitutes your agreement to abide by the Privacy Policy as changed. If you object to any such changes, your sole recourse is to stop using the Service.
